1. Budget:
Starting with a budget, help you stay on task and enjoy the project. Be sure to add 10% more then you anticipate it will cost, allowing you to be prepared for the unplanned cost or repairs.

2. Timing
Every project has many things that need to get done before, during, and after the project begins. Be prepared to spend the time necessary to complete the entire project. Cutting corners, in the long run, will create a hardship on your budget.
3. Research
“The more important reason is that the research itself provides an important long-run perspective on the issues that we face on a day-to-day basis. ” -Ben Bernanke Every family is different. We have different hopes, dreams, and needs. Knowing what you need vs. what you want is key! Depending on your need, we can find the perfect product to match!
4. Estimates
An estimate is a great option for every project. The good news is that most companies will provide this service for free. Having several companies come out and give you an estimate, gives you a good sense of what to expect for the final cost. Be sure to keep in mind the budget you have already set.
5. Products

Every project has a look and feel you desire. Knowing what type of product you have available, and how much it will cost ahead of time gives you the opportunity to get the project finished and love the final product.
Ask your contractor to provide sample within your budget, allowing you to select the best option and not break your bank.
6. Navigation
Every project is unique. When getting ready to close the deal with a contractor, remember there’s always wiggle room when it comes down to the final price. Post the question, you never know what discount you may get.
7. The Deal
At this point, the date is set, the product is picked, and we are ready. The key here is not to rush. Although the desired product is a dream waiting to happen, remember, perfection takes time. Let the pros do what they do best, get the project done.
8. The Project Begins

Getting the area ready, before you begin is very important. Be sure to clear the area of all unnecessary item to avoid addition unwanted fees.
9. Mid Point
Every project should have a timeline expected, although we know there’s needs to be some flexibility, verifying the project is on track is very important. Unnecessary delays can cost you more in the long run.
10. Final Review

By this point, you’re ready for the project to be done. It's key that although the excitement can be overwhelming, taking the time to make sure the project is finished correctly and everything, including the small details is up to your expectations. With this being the last review before the contract is offsite, it's important those final details are finished up and everything is looking great.

Great tip, thank you!
